Privacy Policy
We collect only what is reasonably needed to operate the site, deliver requested materials, support purchases, and understand whether the resource works.
Information you provide
- Email subscriptions: the email address you enter, the signup source, and subscription status.
- Purchases: Stripe handles checkout and payment details. We receive purchase status, customer name and email, amount, and an order/session reference needed to deliver and support the product. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
- Messages: information you choose to include when emailing us.
- Tool inputs: an address you submit may be sent to geographic or government-data services to return a result. Do not enter sensitive personal information into an address field.
First-party analytics
Our site sends limited events such as page views, calls-to-action, lead submissions, address-check attempts, purchases, page path, referring hostname, and campaign tags to our infrastructure. A random identifier is stored in your browser’s session storage to group activity during that browser session. It is not an advertising ID, and the current analytics implementation does not set a tracking cookie or intentionally record an email address in the event stream.
Saved-property workspace
If you save a checked property, the matched address, coordinates, preliminary location signal, source layer, check time, and any note are stored in our Cloudflare D1 database under a random workspace key generated on your device. We do not require an account or intentionally connect that key to your name. If you enable map-source alerts, the alert email is stored with the workspace key. The key acts like a password: anyone who obtains it may be able to access that workspace.
The workspace provides controls to export its records, disable alerts, rotate its key, or permanently erase its saved properties and alert subscription. Saved-property records are removed after 365 days without activity. Rotating or clearing browser storage without transferring the key can make the workspace inaccessible.
Service providers
We use service providers to host and secure the site, process payments, deliver email, store subscribers, and operate analytics. These currently include Cloudflare, Stripe, and Resend. Their processing is also governed by their own privacy terms. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where those providers operate.
How we use information
- Provide requested previews, purchased files, receipts, and support.
- Send subscribed program or product updates and honor unsubscribe requests.
- Measure traffic, attribution, and conversion without selling the event data.
- Prevent abuse, diagnose failures, comply with law, and protect the service.
Sharing and sales
We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers as needed to perform the functions above, or when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety. We do not provide buyer leads to lenders or agents for payment.
Retention and choices
We retain order records as needed for fulfillment, refunds, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Subscriber information is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to minimal suppression records needed to honor an opt-out. Analytics events are retained for up to 400 days, upstream service checks for 90 days, and saved-property workspaces for 365 days after last activity. You can unsubscribe using an email’s instructions or by replying “unsubscribe.”
Your request
Email [email protected] to ask what information you submitted, correct it, unsubscribe, or request deletion. We may need to verify that you control the relevant email address. Some records may be retained where legally required or necessary to document a transaction or opt-out.
Children and changes
The service is intended for adults researching home financing, not children under 13. We may update this policy as the product or providers change; the effective date above will change when revisions are published.
